Specialized Dysphagia Care for Missouri Adults—From the Comfort of Home
Meet your SLP:
Jessica Gai, MS, CCC, SLP, a Speech-Language Pathologist of 15 years created AD in response to the consistent limitations of accessibility to skilled support & rehabilitation of swallowing difficulties. In addition to barriers of travel, time, mobility- most people do not know who or how to seek a swallowing rehabilitation therapist.
Spreading awareness, offerring education and flexible consultation choices to embolden people to seek Dysphagia SLP services & improve a person’s ability to eat and drink enjoyably again is the single goal of ATTENUATED.
Swallowing difficulties can be frustrating, isolating, and disruptive to everyday life. My approach is individualized, collaborative, and focused on helping each patient work toward meaningful functional goals.

Her Opinion:
Dysphagia care should be:
- Individualized
- Evidence-informed
- Practical
- Collaborative
- Focused on the patient’s goals and daily life
By working with patients and, when appropriate, caregivers and/or members of the medical support team to coordinate care, optimal long-term outcomes can be achieved.
